Mrs. Martinez

¡Hola! My name is Rosalinda Martínez and I am the Spanish I teacher here at Dublin High School. I am thrilled to work in the school where I completed my student teaching, and I am forever grateful to have, what I believe, is one of the most important jobs in the world. I am excited to work with our Dublin, and students and get to know each and everyone one of them better. Scroll down to learn a bit more about me.

I, myself, grew up in Guanajuato, Mexico, and moved to Texas when I was 11 years old. After leaving Comanche High School, I went to Tarleton State  University where I received my degree in All-Level Education and Spanish. While at TSU, I had the privilege of studying Spanish literature in Pamplona, Spain.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Miguel, we have a beautiful 9-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son. We love to share our faith with our children and teaching them God's great love. We also love to work together in our family business and create memorable memories while traveling.

My teaching philosophy has always been that if someone is willing to learn and grow, then it can be done. I became a teacher in hopes to encourage and inspire students the way I was inspired by some of my teachers. I truly believe that if I can impact the life of a single student in a positive way, then I would be changing generations to come.
