School Safety

DISD will provide a safe, secure, and supportive environment for students and staff.  We believe that children must have a safe a positive learning environment in order to receive the education they deserve.  Safety is the responsibility of every school employee, but parents and community members have important roles, too.   Below is the Advisory on School Safety for Texas Students from the Texas Attorney General.
